The Orchard Africa 2025

As we prepare to celebrate our inaugural year as a community organization, we humbly thank all of our partners and supporters for all we have accomplished in our first year.

Encouragingly, for year 2, we are expanding our reach and support to South Africa. Over the next year, our Foundation will be partnering with Orchard: Africa. African church leaders face some of the most difficult social issues the world knows. These include poverty, malnutrition, AIDS and a lack of education. Typically, church leaders do not have the support necessary to address these problems. This is why Orchard: Africa exists. They come alongside these leaders to equip, mentor and support them as they care for the vulnerable through their Impact Centers.

The Norman F Holmes Foundation(NFHF) believes in and supports their strategy to turn Sunday morning preachers into community leaders who effectively respond to poverty and injustice. They provide church leaders with proven social programs that move communities from survival to stability to sustainability. Then they train, coach, fund and monitor the implementation of these programs.

Beginning January 2025, NFHF will strategically aid Orchard Africa missions work by supporting a community of 40 village pastors providing leadership development gatherings and seminars that provide tools, mentoring, and training that encourages them to lead well in their community . NFHF will cover the costs for meals, transport for village pastors, supplies, curriculum development and staffing. We believe that an empowered and equipped local pastor and church is truly the best solution to care for the vulnerable and create long-term sustainable change in under-resourced communities.

We are asking for your financial support to assist in this very important missions work. Support can be made via the NFNF website Donate (paypal.com) or call me 240-380-8704 to make a donation by check.
